My work on an AMP shipping app that helps Shopify merchants turn an order into a parcel ready to send.
The question
How do you get a Shopify order ready for the post without separating the shipping work from the store?
The customer has paid. The shop has an order. The parcel, unfortunately, has not posted itself.
My involvement
I worked on Australia Post Shipping through Resync Digital, now Atas.AI. The app is part of AMP, and my work sat within a merchant’s shipping process.
How the app works
The app connects Shopify orders with the steps needed to send them:
- Australia Post rates at checkout.
- Shipping labels and packing slips, including bulk printing.
- Order fulfilment and tracking updates.
There are several steps hiding inside the fairly innocent phrase “send the order”. The app keeps them connected to the order the merchant already has.
Product notes
The Shopify listing names it AMP Australia Post Shipping and lists Addition as the developer.
